Birth is one of the most physical experiences your body will ever move through—and yet most people are never taught how to push, breathe, or use their pelvic floor before labor begins.

Our Push Prep Session is a one-on-one (or two-on-one!) appointment designed for pregnant women who want to feel prepared, informed, and confident heading into birth. Partners are strongly encouraged to attend so you can learn and practice together.

During this session, we focus on helping you understand your body, practice the mechanics of pushing, and build practical tools you can use on birth day.

What we cover:

  • Birth prep exercises

  • Internal pelvic floor & push assessment (if desired) to assess coordination, strength, and relaxation

  • Perineal massage education & guided practice to support tissue mobility and reduce fear of the unknown

  • Birth positions & pain management that promote pelvic opening and efficient pushing

  • Partner involvement & strategies

You’ll leave with handouts to take home, clear next steps for continued preparation, and guidance on how to build a supportive birth team and resource list that aligns with your goals.
